Two things I know little to nothing about, religion and rap. Or is that latter one wrap? Who’s to say in their righteous rapturing reasonless mind? WIP 🎨 pixel art for the subreddit Sketch Daily.

I could feel this was the
5th4th consecutive day of 🏃 This is when some need motivation to continue. Nature wasn’t helping either, with several hissing geese with chicks I had to give a wide berth, which is amusing, considering I was running around a body of water.

If I breathe air, which I do, does that imply I’m an “air enthusiast”? If I create art (express myself) does that make me an “artist”? I find this need to categorize and organize puzzling; it feels like being judged and objectified by others. How simple the world must be for it.

They found the critter themselves. I suspect it has some kind of self-defense, like a strange smell or high-pitched sound. Since the felines weren’t serious about eating it, I threw it into a jar and then in the great outdoors (backyard). 🐱

With 17 ℃ it was a bit tougher to 🏃 coming from Winter temperatures. Still, I somehow managed to run an hour.

I’m rewatching Star Trek Discovery 📺 on Netflix, outside the US. Skipping season 1 and FF through the scenes with Ash and the Klingons. Even so, there are lots of plot holes covered by technobabble and wooden acting, as usual for a science fiction series for general audiences.

Today’s 🏃 contained slaloming 🐌 🐌 a dilapidated fortress guarded by lots of geese in the court, and goslings with mama goose hissing at me. So, the usual 😊

The Covid-19 vaccination is strictly regulated here in the Netherlands—no surprise there. There’s no skipping lines, it seems. OTOH, you don’t have to choose a vaccine, and two dates are planned with some months in between. I can choose when I get the shots within a 5-day period.

In other news, it appears I joined Twitter 12 years ago, on 8 May 2009. Back then, I could’ve picked many 3- or 4-letter handles, but I’m happy I didn’t, because those get hacked all the time nowadays.

I can see irony in people leaving Hey e-mail, while maintaining their Prime subscriptions. Amazon warehouse and delivery working conditions are much worse (and have been for years) than the—in comparison—🌪in🫖 going on at Basecamp.

I wonder if I’ve read a book, should I be proselytizing it to new readers, or just enjoy the experience? Books are even more personal than movies or streaming series, and I found telling others I loved one of those very hit or miss, and vice versa (e.g. I don’t like Ted Lasso).

One would expect that having done several long runs recently would give me good results, but alas, that’s not how it works. Was nice sunny weather and I wore a t-shirt and shorts, despite it being 11 ℃.
