Pixel art 🚧 Not at all representative of the end result. I used the 4-color Gameboy color palette, even though most of the originals are full-color. Also, the pixel count of all but the two smallest sprites is twice that of mine. It’s study for inspiration and growth… ISWTDT.

Pixel art for Pixel Dailies. Some prompts are more challenging, and I guess that’s why this kind of exercise is referred to as a challenge.

So Pixel Dailies. A halberd (aka halbard) is a spear on top of an axe, mounted on a long pole, with opposite to the axe a hook to grab soldiers on horseback. It’s approximately the length of a footsoldier’s height.

Pixel art for Pixel Dailies. Okay, it’s possible to create a shape that can be tessellated so, that it’s still possible to recognize an animal in it. Well, I tried.

I’m pretty sure this doesn’t qualify. Still, why use such fancy words if you want people to participate? Pixel art.

Pixel art. It seems visual storytelling is a thing, and it requires constant practice. So setting myself this challenge can’t be bad, can it? Gameboy resolution (160 x 144 pixels).

Pixel art. Refinement of an animation I did earlier today. I’m pleased with the result, even as crude as it is.

It looks like spring in winter.

In other news… We had a storm yesterday, Eunice. My little house creaked and moaned, but it survived. Little damage to my belongings, since I don’t have much. 🏠

Quick project, I thought, a pixel art walk cycle. Now it’s 3 hours later, anything but completed. 🤔 Huh?
