Gathering ideas for today’s Pixel Dailies prompt. Tarnished is the title of a 1950 American action movie. It also means: “dulled the luster of”, “spoiled”, “disgraced.” The disgusting looking C64 is from Adrian’s Digital Basement on YouTube. Think big, draw small, y’know. 🚧🖥👨‍🎨🎨

Pixel art 🚧 Not at all representative of the end result. I used the 4-color Gameboy color palette, even though most of the originals are full-color. Also, the pixel count of all but the two smallest sprites is twice that of mine. It’s study for inspiration and growth… ISWTDT.

So Pixel Dailies. A halberd (aka halbard) is a spear on top of an axe, mounted on a long pole, with opposite to the axe a hook to grab soldiers on horseback. It’s approximately the length of a footsoldier’s height.
