Pixel art. Before I looked it up, I had no idea what today’s Pixel Dailies theme warp pad was.

Animating still pixel art is certainly the next level up, which I have yet to reach. All the elements are there, just not the execution. Creating strong key poses is a big leap, in between poses probably even more so.

Today’s (second) pixel art theme of Pixel Dailies is shopping mall, a place I prefer to avoid whenever possible.

Today’s Pixel Dailies pixel art theme was “seal.” I chose the cuter meaning of that word.

Pixel art. The stay-at-home sea pirate needed a lot more than a hat. I’m putting this project on hold, for it’s too complicated for a quick fix.

Pixel art. Testing my new Twitter avatar, inspired by the old stay-at-home sea pirate. I think he still needs a hat worthy of a captain.

Today’s Pixel Dailies pixel art theme was all about the bird’s eye view perspective. Lots of new things I had to invent here.

Today’s Pixel Dailies pixel art theme “construction” I interpreted as repair work, which I assume is a kind of construction, although sometimes it feels more like wrecking, especially how I do my repairs (badly).

PS Notice my totally Freudian artist’s slip of two left hands.

Pixel art animation at only 24x24 pixels.

Today’s Pixel Dailies pixel art theme was “shrub.” I felt inspired by the Knights who say “Ni.” Made a typo, tho.

Pixel art with GrafX2 on Raspberry Pi OS. I did some tweaking in Pixaki on the iPad. An elderly pixel editor like GrafX2 certainly has its own look and feel.

Pixel art. Some C64 multicolor high resolution graphics. Well, it was hires for the time, 320 x 200 pixels, reduced to 160 x 200 double pixels in m.c. hires.

Today’s Pixel Dailies pixel art had the theme Kirby. I know not of any Kirby, videogame, vacuum cleaner, or otherwise.

Today’s Pixel Dailies pixel art was hard to come up with, easy enough to implement. Of course, everything is easy once you know what to do.

Today’s Pixel Dailies theme was “smear frame.” I had no idea how to implement this, but I finally arrived at this solution for pixel art.

Pixel art 🚧 This must be a videogame term, since I never heard of the term smear frame.

Today’s Pixel Dailies prompt was “flyer.” I had to fold an actual airplane out of paper to be able to make the animation.

Pixel art for Pixel Dailies for the prompt “Red Panda.” This was, again, a lot a lot of work and fiddling, yet rewarding in the end.

Pixel art 🚧 Today’s PD prompt is Red Panda. I finished the border and background in roughly four hours, and I still haven’t done the actual panda(s). It wouldn’t surprise me if I needed at least a similar amount of time to finish this piece—much too long for a daily prompt.
