My contributions for PixelJoint are often more considered, since it is a community of such excellent artists, making me want to do just a little bit more effort. This one is called: “Early Catch.” It’s 60 x 48 pixels, 10 colors and pixel.

Today’s Pixel Dailies theme was cobblestone, and I cobbled it together in isometric perspective π pixel π¨

Fresh from the isometric digital pixel π¨ ovenβ¦
Drawn, reluctantly (since my art is allowed grudgingly, it seems, not being traditional in nature, like pencil on paper) for the Sketch a Day app.
I keep setting myself up for failure, as a non-conformist, so it appears.

Another one for April Fools Day, a Carrot Kar, they are terrible to drive in, and are generally driven by fools. Drawn for Pixel Dailies, in jest, pixel π¨

It isn’t really cross-stitched, but I came close (enough) to the real thing by some photo manipulation in Procreate on a pixel π¨ image I did earlier today. I could do more, but then it’s easier (and faster) to do the real thing instead.

I couldn’t settle on a color palette, so I didn’t. Happy April Fools!
Drawn for the Sketch a Day app in Pixaki on iPad. I used four color palettes: Cold-23, Ministeck-24, Sweetie-16, and Jellyfish-16. If I had Lego bricks, I could build a 32 x 32 pixel π¨

It took me much longer than expected, but the result was worth it. Ministeck board 80 x 96 holes. Mistakes were made. π§Ά

When I bought this sleep-couch last Friday, the salesperson said she had assembled it herself, NP. Now I have it, I see 5 steps to get things wrong π I know from past experiences I will get things wrong, where anyone with a half brain wouldnβt.

That’s some hairdo! π¨ Drawn for the Sketch a Day app, today’s prompt majestic.
-
Today’s Pixel Dailies theme was Daffodils. I added a unicorn called Daffodil.

For the Sketch-a-Day app, prompt fox. Pixel π¨ 32x32, 10 colors.
-
Today’s Pixel Dailies theme was CardGame, restriction 5 colors max. Pixel π¨ 64x64, 5 colors.
-
DDC 2308, pixel π¨ 64x64, 4 colors. Last one on FB, alas. IG was already off my list a few days ago. Goodbye for now, Facebook π

April 1 is approaching quickly. It’s then that I want to abandon (not quit) Facebook/Instagram for daily use. The big F will keep tracking me, though, unless they are forced to stop by law. It’s this dopamine rush I want to get rid of.
-
For the Sketch-a-Day app, pixel π¨ 32x32, 2 colors. The prompt was fast.

Today’s theme of Pixel Dailies was sea plane π¨

Pixel art, 32 x 32, 2 colors, inspired by 1984 Mac OS icons. For Sketch-a-Day app, prompt “dive”.

DDC 2306. Pixel art, 16x16, 2 colors. Inspired by the very first pixel artist, Susan Kare, designer of 1984 Mac OS' B+W desktop icons on a 32x32 grid. She was able to provide clarity and whimsy. I tried to give this octopus some personality within the limits. (enlarged 4x).

I wondered if I can publish from Apple Notes to micro.blog without too much fuss? And can I add a photo too?
Yes, I can, but only the text, it seems.

DDC 2305, pixel art, 64 x 64 pixels, 13 colors.
