I can has Remote Desktop Access to my Pi 🥧 now, with TeamViewer for personal use (free) 🤓 👨💻

According to both my calculated fat percentage and BMI I’m no longer overweight, nor obese: 75 kg, 1.74 m. 🏃 Good position to be in for my upcoming marathon, November 28. I lost 18 kg (40 lbs), or half my body fat mass, in 17 weeks.

And my dresser is assembled, in around three hours. Very pleased with myself, and the result, of course 😍 Again, such a good find last Monday, after almost giving up the furniture hunt. 🏠

Medieval city prison, at the then city limit, called the “Gevangenpoort", or prisoners’ gate.

32 pages for assembling a dresser seems daunting to me, having little experience with turning flatpacks into furniture. However, I’m low on funds, so paying someone else to do it must wait a month. Alternatively, I do it myself, today… 😱 That didn’t go well the previous time 😔 🏠

💡When in doubt about a feature on Linux Desktop, try the Windows equivalent. My question was: “What key combo is used to switch between apps?”
Alt+Tabon both Windows and Linux Desktop 👨💻 -
Web coding in Hugo, while watching a YouTube video on the page generated by the local Hugo server, running on my brand new Raspberry Pi 400. 👨💻

My Noob experience with web dev, sort of. Using Rasberry Pi 400 for web development – part 1 – So much to do, so little time

I’m clearly an expert at couching my words 🤣
Tomorrow I’ll start studying web development using the Hugo templating language, after “only” four days of prep, and little sleep. The rest of the day is reserved for taking it easy, recovery.

It’s nice to have extra space instead of the stock 16 GiB that comes with the Raspberry Pi 400. 👨💻

Since Linux Desktop has limited support for emoji and no good input method editor (IME) I could find, I’ll have to use a cheat sheet with Unicodes. Most emoji are unsupported, though, which is a shame. To enter, press the ctrl+shift+u key combo, followed by the hex-digits. 👨💻

Golang 1.11 successfully installed…

Writing a long form post about my experiences learning how to modify micro∙blog themes… I expect part 1 to be out some time next week. I have the computer set up, software all installed. There’s education ahead! 😃👨💻

I’m typing this post on my Raspberry Pi 400, using Firefox instead of Chrome. I have no sound, and tomorrow I will visit the local shop where I bought my monitor for a solution. It’s no biggie, as a dev machine, but I want sound anyway.

Found this beauty alongside a bike path on my 🏃 Already yesterday, but I forgot to take a picture then, awestruck as I was 🌸 I’m told it’s an evening primrose.

I already have a monitor for my Raspberry PI4 (will arrive tomorrow). It’s the Full HD LCD-monitor 243V7QDSB/00 - Philips. I’m about ready to start some serious programming—well studying for it, anyway. 🙏 @sod for pointing me in the right direction. BTW I’m such a worry ward.

Just got hand delivered mail, a letter and a bar of chocolate. Guess what the fate of that bar is? Spoiler: not my stomach.

Trying to understand the templating language behind micro∙blog is hurting my brain. I have really no idea how to tackle my problem of site navigation, where the previous post is out of scope of the current section—or the next post if the current post is last in its section. 👨💻
