I’m not sure why it takes so long, but I guess that goes with the creative process; it’s not as straightforward as one would want.

Character design doesn’t come in a flash with me. It always has been a slow process, rather discouraging imo. I guess I’m not a glutton for details, which is a big drawback for creativity. 🎨

My flatbed scanner isn’t functional anymore, so I had to scan with iOS. After importing the doodle as a reference, I drew this critter in Pixaki.

Had problems in Raspberry Pi OS entering special characters. I had to “Google” for them. No longer. GUCharMap to the rescue! 😍

Was interested in camera equipment for YouTube videos. My budget is < €150. The cheapest I could find via YouTube tutorials the Canon T7 (EOS 2000D) with kit lens for €570. Those aren’t beginner prices! Better for me to use an iPhone on a UBeesize tripod, €20. 📺

I made a 32x32 pixel image with GrafX2 on Linux, imported it via the Secure ShellFish app to my iPad, and refined it with the Pixaki app.

I still see people not wearing masks where they should. By this point I can’t call it ignorance anymore, but must see it as anti-social behavior. It’s about 15% of the population, the same amount that isn’t vaccinated as of yet. They might be the same defiant people. 🦠😷
